Lines: 21 From: Dave Gehrt RIACS is hosting a demonstration of the Celerity (sic) processor for the next week or so. This machine runs 4.2BSD UNIX, has a custom processor, runs at (a claimed) 2MIPS (approx 2x an 11/780) and has a Raster Technologies color graphics subsystem attached. The price? ~$75K for the processor, with the tape drive and disks and memory on this unit, $28k for the graphics subsystem, the bottom line is $120-130K. This system is available for testing from ARPA/MILNET sites at network address 192.5.35.101. There are guest accounts named 'demo[0-9]' and 'guest'. RIACS does not endorse this or any product. Please send comments or results to dave@riacs, or to msgs on the box itself. ----------
