Jarrell What problem with pagelength 0 and mail? I ran into a neat problem with mail and the fact that an UNKNOWN terminal attempts to clear it's screen when leaving mail, by printing numlines*numchars spaces.. DSIN told me to set pagelength of 1... Then, when I complained, they said, "Well, mail is just trying to be consistent." "Sure it is," reply I, " but wouldn't it be nice for VT100's to do it to?" "They Don't? waitaminute.. What do you know they don't. Well, we'll SPR that as an inconsistency in VMS." Argh. -Ron Jarrell
