I used about half of them when I decided to either give them away or use them in my less demanding applications. The reason was because the tape seemed to be quite inconsistant in comparison with Maxell XL-IIS, my current tape of choice. The Denon tape does sound very good, but on a couple of samples, the highs seemed muffled and compressed. Also, one sample was apparently not compatible with the diffused-resonance dual capstan transport on my tape deck, it didn't actually jam but it sounded like it wanted to, making lots of scraping noise. I haven't had any such problem with any other brand of tape, including Maxell, TDK, or Fuji. Overall, it was a nice sounding tape, but inconsistant--And consistancy of quality is important to me.
