It is the phone number for Sony's Semiconducter sales office and their catalog lists a number of 44 and 88 KHz D/A converters. (Gee, I wonder what they use those D/A converters for.) They sent me the spec for the D/A converter in the new CDP 102 and 302 CD players. It is a full 16 bit 88 KHz dual D/A converter and quoted me a price of $25 for the chip in small quantities.
