Lately I am having some problems shifting gears on my 1983 Nissan
Stanza.  When the car is cold the transmission shifts very crisply.
After about 20-30 minutes of driving it the shifting gets harder and
stickier.  Feels like trying to shift a gearbox filled with thick
glue.  The problem seems to go away after the engine cools off, but
returns again after it warms up.

Can anybody provide some suggestions as to what this may be and how
it could be fixed ?
