In response to the solution to being tailgated by 18 wheelers (paint on
windshield) and to the responses to that article, I submit that by substituting
another substance for black paint, this idea might potentially have some small
bit of merit.  I do not advocate dangerous acts or risking other peoples lives,
but I certainly am tired of having my life risked by some jerk in a semi.  
In some areas, trucks are limited to the two rightmost lanes of the freeway, so
they do not have the same options of passing available to cars, but there is
absolutely no excuse for driving a many ton vehicle with limited stopping
power less than ten feet behind a passenger car at 60+ mph.
   
From those who vehemently disagreed with the black paint trick, do you have
any suggestions on how to deal with this life threatening menace?  I would
honestly like to see some reasonable suggestions.
