What a great pack of self-centered fools!
Where do you people think you live?  As an isolated individual?  Surprise!
You live in a society which both provides you with certain perquisites and
demands certain responsibilities, in this case we're talking about the part
of your taxes that go to funding public education.  That's because most people
in this culture believe it important that it continue.  Children are a part of
continuing, and just because you don't have any yourself doesn't mean you're
off from having to contribute.  Now maybe you don't like this situation; well,
then think up your own better idea about society and go ahead and convince 
other people about it.  (Hint: whining in net.flame is not effective enough.)

How many of those complaining about paying for education were never educated
in public schools?
