Lines: 13 I will have to defend foghorns on airplanes as much as I dislike the noise. Small children often have a problem with the changing air pressure in the cabin. It is a little scarry to a child when his or her ears begin to hurt or become uncomfrtable. Once the pressure equalizes, they usually calm down. This is the only place I can defend them though, the rest of the time, their parents should be aware that their little charge is bugging the bejabbers out of everyone else. T. C. Wheeler .
