I've been watching this particular flame with interest, waiting for the 'I am
crazy' defense against muggers.  (You can assign a great big :-) to this flame!)
Though I admit never to have had a close personal brush with a mugging, and I
suppose I' dbe a coward and give over my cash, I have heard of two marvelous
methods of defense.  (Remember:  :-))

1)  When you are being mugged excrete some bodily fluid on your money.  This 
will really p**s off the mugger!  (ha ha)

2) Echo everything back at him, like you did when you were a kid...

Him:  "Give me your money! I've got a gun!"
You:  "Give me your money!  I've got a gun!"

etc...

(Steve Martin once suggested throwing up on your money.)
