Subject: Angry bears in the dungeon?

   While playing a game of hack all of a sudden at the top of the screen
where the other messages usually show up appeared "You hear the roaring
of an angry bear."  What the heck does this mean?  In the next room I 
found a bear trap; does this have anything to do with it?  Anybody else
ever see this?
