I would like to get more information about this Graphics Library. Here are a few questions. These questions are addressed to both current users of and potential users. Any information or pointers to information will be appreciated. 1. How good is this package from a performance point of view? 2. Is segmented output considered absolutely neccessary for any realistic applications? 3. How extensively are metafiles used? 4. Though the standard talks about Asynchronous Input, how useful is this? (Most vendors have only a 2b implementation) If you're currently a GKS user, are you hurting because you don't have 2c? 5. Which GKS version are you currently using and what has been your experience with it? Responses will be summarized and posted to individuals upon request, or if there is sufficient interest I'll post it to the Net. Vasudev K. Bhandarkar decvax!vasudev
