His answer in a nutshell was that all the "simple" sex pre-determination methods have been "debunked" (his word), that they do not in fact produce statistically significant differences, and that the only sure method now available is the relatively new (and expensive) sperm column separation technique, which requires artifical insemination (no, thank you).
