For $99 it seems fine. So far it has worked reliably & boots protected disks. According to Franklin it is made by Mitac, an outfit from Taiwan which also makes Shugart look-alikes for the Apple. SInce the half height is so different electrically from the full height I am a little concerned aboout not having a schematic or maintenance manual. Can anyone advise me on where to obtain one? . bob harpo\!bob ihnp4\!whuxb\!harpo\!bob
