Actually, the best Ethiopia song I have heard so far is `Tam Tam pour
l'Ethiopie,' which is currently only available in England.  (It is on
Zarjazz records, which is Madness' new label.)  A lot of African pop
stars such as King Sunny Ade, Toure Kunda, and Manu Dibango contribute to
the effort.  It is a very spirited and saccharin-free dance record.

The flip side (it is a double-A side single) is a cover of an old Pioneers
tune called ``Starvation.''  The Pioneers were a ska/reggae group; they
appear on the record along with members of the Special AKA, Madness, and
UB40 among others.

I hope this single gets US distribution so that you hip people out there
won't cringe while you're giving to a good cause...
