Mailing a letter of support to Wale directly Like the other net.nlang.* groups, this one would not be devoted strictly to african languages (though that would be fascinating, given enough support). Rather, it would provide a forum for the discussion of topics concerning Africa in general. Given the level awareness of African culture, current events, and history around the DrivelNet, I sincerely hope that such a newsgroup might flourish to become a source of enlightenment and understanding. Oh yes, may I suggest that, should net.nlang.africa be successful, people submitting music articles there would double-post to net.music as well!! -michael
