My SO says that when she was living in Berkley around '77-'78 she heard a tape that had on it a rendition of St. Stephen with someone playing a BAGPIPE. I know this seems strange (or maybe it doesn't) but, I have noticed while listening to St. Stephen on 'Live Dead' that there is a line there, played by the organ that could have originally belonged to a bagpipe. Interestingly the line is not in the version on 'AOXOMOXOA'. Has anybody else ever heard this tape? Heard of this tape? Is it possible that they put this version on vinyl on an album that I don't have? Any info would be greatly appreciated. -- ---- William J.
