Since Spanish is the language and the culture can be considered Spanish or Spanish-American (Hispanic), I don't believe too many people would feel offended by the use of "spanish" over "hispanic" or such. I'd like to see discussion on the politics and culture of the Spanish-speaking on such a news group, as it seems to be very popular these days.
