We get about 1 hard error a day, and there are no bad areas on our packs. I suspect the code to retry hard errors may not be working (not clearing an error bit). Does anyone have a up driver that works with the dataram controller (preferably also on the emulex without paramaterization), or even a segment of code from any Unix dataram controller illustrating the proper way to retry hard errors? Also we get the occasional soft ecc error that results in complete garbage being read (a random bit stream), has anyone seen this?
