	FERRY TO NIRVANA

	I will do anything you say
	   to make you happy
	   in this threatened world:

	Help save rain forest
	   in the Amazon
	   preserve the precious oxygen
	   for all to breathe.
	Prove my devotion to
	   seals and whales and porpoises
	   equip a fleet of zodiacs
	   for staunch environmentalists.
	I'll work to help you reach your goal
	   Compassion for all 
	   suffering beings -
	And when your life
	   of meritorious acts is done,
	I'll put you on a
	   ferry to Nirvana
	and wonder will you miss the struggle
	   on the yonder shore?
