Perhaps to help Europe with politics postings, and to sum up
postings to the net, why not create a moderated politics news
group?  This would have a much smaller flow, as repetition
would be eliminated.

Unless somebody has a better idea, I would volunteer to attempt to
moderate this bear.  (I'm sure I'll be flamed for political bias
in this...)  Whether it will be run by summarising net articles,
or by moderated submission, or both, is up to you to decide.
