I know that by admitting that I watch television, I will be shunned
by some of the netters.  After all, how can anyone who watch not just
television, but commercial televison have anything worthwile to
contribute to the more worldly netters. I watch TV because I like it.

It may sound silly, but there are shows that I try to arrange my time
so that I will be able to see them.  That does not mean that I go into
phosphoric shock if, heaven forbid, I should miss a show.  I do not
watch everything that is on, but I do watch the news every night. I
also have been know to watch Entertainment Tonight (one should at least
watch the opening credits because it demonstrates how well computer
generated graphics can be done).

Dallas is not on my list, but, yes, Dynasty is.  I enjoy getting lost
in a world that I know does not exist: fantasy to rest the mind.  NBC's
Thursday line up is one of the best.  I enjoy the Cosby show - it reminds
me of what a real, loving family is about.  Ending with Hill Street Blues,
my evening is complete.  The performances are quality proffesional ones.
While it is not the same feeling as a good play.  I don't believe that my
intellegence has been insulted.

I honestly don't know what's on on Mondays or Tuesdays because I am
taking classes that meet on those nights. My weekends are usually busy 
being that I travel. I work hard :-) at my job and can hardly be considered
a dolt.  I find people who pooh-pooh those who watch television are trying
to be somehow more cultured.  Let them. Culture is for pearls.  I am here
to enjoy myself.
