Sorry, humans is humans, I respectfully >disagree with any form of the above claim. > I'm sorry, I can not accept the statement above. If this is true then we are all failures or we are all "successes". I readily see people functioning in situations where others fail, or I could say that I see people fail where others succeed. The problem with this statement is that it fails to define normal - and if it did attempt to define normal it would fail because what is normal for me may not be for you. Humans are not humans, we are all brought up with a different basic set of values and prejudices. Within the "Westernized" world it is generally possible to form a "master" set such that each individual's value set is a subset of the "master". I am quite sure that outside of the limited "master" set (remember it is defined by the "Westernized" world) we can find many people leading happy and healthy lives. Are they not human? A simple example that even relates to the subject is bygamy. There are few people in the United States who could be comfortable in a multi-spouse family, yet we can easily find a culture where it is disdainful to be the only spouse. Or, I personally could not live a life where it was expected I would be a homosexual yet even within this country (an extremely small sample set of humans) we find many people with an exactly opposite view part, am I a failure? Respectfully, Peter B
