For a different perspective on this issue, I suggest going to the local magazine stand and/or adult bookstore and looking through some of the "big bust" type magazines (_not_ Playboy -- I mean the raunchier ones). What you'll find is considerable evidence for a segment of the male population that likes women who are over-weight by current fashion standards. There are dozens of soft- and hard-core porn magazines catering to this specialized market, featuring a range of female figures from mildly plump to grossly fat by any reasonable standard (i.e. over 400 lbs.). Publishers are not in business to lose money and they probably have to sell thousands of copies of these magazines to come out ahead. _Someone's_ buying them. For further evidence take the experience of a friend of mine, a lady who isn't skinny by any means, but isn't notably plump either. She and some friends (with similar figures) once found themselves in a bar where they were being ignored for no obvious reason -- other women were dancing, getting drinks, etc., but the men were ignoring them. They finally realized they had stumbled into a "plumper bar". All the men there considered them too skinny to bother with. She still hasn't decided whether to be insulted or flattered by the experience. -- -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- The Polymath (aka: Jerry Hollombe) Citicorp TTI 3100 Ocean Park Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90405 (213) 450-9111, ext. 2483 {philabs, randvax, trwrb, vortex}!ttidca!ttidcc!hollombe
