Or I should say, what disk jockeys consider to be dance music - Top 10 songs with pace measured in beats per minute. I requested "Layla" and was told by the disk jockey that it isn't a dance song! Gee, I wonder what it was we used to do to it? It sure seemed to be dancing. My opinion is that you can dance to pretty well any song (not *ALL*, but most) so they might as well be GOOD songs. 3) Why do so many guys crowd around the dance floor, but never dance? Are they really just checking out the women to see who they want to hit on? I wish they would get out of the way so those of us who want to dance can get through. 4) If women are so keen to dance (otherwise why would they be dancing alone, or with each other) why don't they ask a guy to dance? Last time I checked the calendar it was the mid-80's, not the 50's. -- Rick Gillespie rick@ucla-cs ...!{cepu|ihnp4|sdcrdcf|ucbvax}!ucla-cs!rick "She turned me into a newt! . . . I got better."
