However, Winnipeg is missing Hawerchuk for the first 2 games, minimum. Oilers in 6. Chicago - Minnesota The regular season series was 4-3-1 for Chicago. There are no serious injuries. Chicago will not be bounced around like St. Louis was by the North Stars - Willi Plett will not pick on the Hawk left wingers. The Hawks in 5, maybe 6. Montreal - Quebec Montreal won the regular season series 6-1-1, but Mondou is out. Both teams are going to be tired after full 5 game preliminary series. Look for lots of blood, and lots of home ice wins. Montreal in 7 because of extra home game. Philadelphia - New York The regular season was a draw 3-3-1, no injuries that I know of. The Islanders will be tired after a tough 5 game series against the Caps. The Flyers are a young team with lots of pressure on it - the Islanders KNOW how to win. Islanders in 5. Look for Hrudey to play game 1. -- Rick Gillespie rick@ucla-cs ...!{cepu|ihnp4|sdcrdcf|ucbvax}!ucla-cs!rick "She turned me into a newt! . . . I got better."
