Since the booklet of instructions that comes with the tax forms says explicitly that Social Security taxes are not deductible, I think the IRS position on this is pretty clear. I'm not going to tell you what you should expect, but if I tried to pull a stunt like deducting my social security taxes, I would expect to be sent a bill for the difference, plus penalties and interest, plus $500 for filing a frivolous return.
