I believe that the incident at the 20th Anniversary Con was the first in a
long line of practical jokes and mutual insults between Pat and Jon at
various conventions.  The 1984 Summer Special has an article on that con-
vention (which says that Peter Davison "narrowly escaped getting soaked", who
knows who's correct?), and shows a picture of the two of them in costume,
struggling to get out of the door of a mock TARDIS before the other one!
   All this, of course, began with The Three Doctors and, later, The Five
Doctors.  It has become a sort of tradition, it seems, that when they both
are at conventions something is going to happen...
