Message-ID: <6636@ucbvax.ARPA> Date: Wed, 1-May-85 03:50:09 EDT Article-I.D.: ucbvax.6636 Posted: Wed May 1 03:50:09 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 2-May-85 00:46:10 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.ARPA Organization: University of California at Berkeley Lines: 20 From: John M Sellens Faced with the task of moving a large (i.e. many source files) project from PC's to VMS, I am desperately hoping that there is a 'make' on VMS. I wrote one for PC's, but since the first time I even looked at VMS was late last week, I don't think I'm up to the task of writing one for VMS. Can anyone give me any useful info? I looked in the manuals, but was unsuccessful in my search. Also, is there a way to refer to the parent directory of the current directory? I suspect not, but I'm used to being able to refer to things like ../../over/there . Replies by mail would be much appreciated.
