Mine fails in various ways with various system programs. I spent a couple of hours today trying to figure out why Show Process/Continuous was getting an access violation for one of our terminals but not another. It finally turned out that in one specific situation, if ScrFT returned a string longer than 5 characters, the caller coughed an access violation. Does this ring any bells? I can't believe noone else had this problem, but I tracked it right out of my ScrFT, so it doesn't seem to be my problem, but on the other hand, I can't find any programs where it works worth anything. I figure they must be trying to get me to convert to SMG$. So.....does anyone really know which system programs use the SMG$ stuff? I can't tell if my TermTable is bogus or if no DEC programs use it yet (4.1) and I'm too lazy to write my own test programs.
