Mail(1) has been fixed to be much more patient about its locking, which
should eliminate some mail-delivery problems.  (The fundamental nature
of the locking, which is flawed, remains unchanged.)  Also, two other
changes:  an 'e' subcommand which drops you into the editor with a copy
of the current message, and an alteration to the mail-sending code so
that `.' alone on a line is not an EOF unless the input is a terminal.
