The front speakers are 5-1/4 rounsd, down in the kick panels. What I would like to do is go to woofer-and-tweeter seperates with the woofer where the ``full-range'' (really squawker + whizzer) is now and the tweeter up somewhere higher. Does anyone have any strong informed opinion on the tweeter placement? This car has the door latch located European style, recessed in the door panel, about four inches below the base of the window, and about five inches from the front of the door. I am currently thinking about mounting the tweeter flush just above the door latch, assuming that nothing is in the way. Is this a good place, or do you know of a better? -- from Mole End Mark Terribile (scrape .. dig ) mtx5b!mat ,.. .,, ,,, ..,***_*.
