WRONG! In at least one state (Michigan, where I used to live) the law
is that slower cars must move over to let faster ones pass regardless
of speed. I know of at least a couple of cases there where drivers were
ticketed for failing to move over.

I do indeed! Also that this practice is more likley to cause an
accident than somebody simply going faster than 55 mph.
