I know this was a long time ago, but i just noticed something
very strange at the local Mobil station in NY:

Notice:  There is a fine of up to $100,000 for putting
leaded fuel in a vehicle marked "Unleaded Fuel Only".

I remember some people suggesting mixing fuels to get higher
octane, so if you want to try this in New York, good luck!

Are there any other states that have this law and why is
there such a high fine?
