Can anyone tell me how good it is? The authors are Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine, the publisher is Osborne/McGraw-Hill, it's 288 pages and costs $9.95. I liked very much Tracy Kidder's "Soul of a New Machine", about the engineers at Data General who developed the Eagle minicomputer, and I liked even more Steven Levy's "Hackers", which is about the original computer nerds at MIT in the late 1950's and early 60's and about Bill Gates, Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs, Adam Osborne and a lot of less famous but equally important hackers who developed the machines that we know and don't understand today :-).
