My mother bought a house about 7 years ago in Indianapolis and it came with a Jenn-Air grill. In the winter very cold air pours into the kitchen from the vent for the smoke. Her final solution was to cover the vent when not in use to prevent the draft. I assume the vent is similar to the ones for dryers, i.e. a flap that closes when air is not being exhausted thru the vent but I haven't checked. -------------------------------------------------------------- Brent E.
