There is a new type of motorcycle clothing making its way here from across
the pond.  In Merry Olde they have waxed cotton jackets.  Although they
feel funny, they are fairly waterproof and are supposed to be better
than denim (but not as good as leather).  I've seen them advertised in
the various rags, but as I already have a plethora of jackets, I don't
recall who sells them.
