I'm interested in Kermit because my understanding is that Kermit handles the transfer, does flow control, identifies bad blocks ( and resends bad ones), etc. Does anyone know if there are single boards available which will interface a 8-bit bus with a sync modem? I'd prefer that it would be essentially a hands-off operation in that you'd be able to dial-up a given modem, and the data transfer would be automatic and not apparent to the user. Any help or suggestions? Thanks; Norm tektronix!tekred!normb
