Well, the other day I got this private mail daring me to show up at a local
'eats' place and meet Andy Beals.

After negotiating who gets to sit facing the door and what weapons are ok
to bring, I agreed.  We set the time and place for the meet.

One 'the day' I get there and wait outside (I told him I'd be the guy shooting
buicks) and up drives Andy in his pickup.  Jonathan Callas also showed up.

We had a delightful lunch.  Andy is a great guy except that he didn't bring
photos of some of the gang he has met.  (He took mine!)  He, Jonathan and I
has a long wandering talk about everything under the sun.  And I got a few
good leads on philosophy and physics from Jonathan.  

Now listen up gang, especially MY PEOPLE, I will be in the Wash.DC area
May 12 & 13!  Isn't that exciting!  I will be available, especially to be
fondled and fawned over, I WILL sign autographs, for lunches or dinner or
something.  I fly in, 'Hampster Airways' Sunday afternoon and out Tues.
afternoon.  It's a seminar I'm attending.  So if we can get together send
mail.  Also I'm going to Atlanta later in May, dates to be confirmed.

Just a thought.
