First we established that fast food consumers were bright enough to determine how many hamburgers they wanted and didn't appreciate being asked if they wanted more food by silly, stupid counter help (in spite of the fact that this is an extremely effective selling practice). Then we moved on to establish that counter help were poor, downtrodden creatures, forced to badger customers -- poor dears, it isn't their fault. Now we're told by somebody (who's obviously still pretty bitter about their own work experience) that managers of fast food restaurants, being uniformly stupid, are really the ones to blame. Obviosuly, the person most at fault is the now deceased Ray Kroc, the multi-millionaire developer of McDonalds, a man so incredibly stupid that if he had been just a tiny bit smarter, could easily have made two or three times as much money.
