HEAR, HEAR!! When I did my time at McD's, the most common phrases I heard were: "I want..." and "Gimme....". No "Please", no "Thank you", no nothing!! When someone WAS polite, it really made my day. That didn't happen very often, though. Y'all are screaming about how irritating the counter help can be--just stop and think about how irritating you can be to the counter help! Especially when you don't take the time to read the menu, and order onion rings at McD's, and then get all bent out of shape when you're told you can't get them. Or when you bring six screaming kids in and have them order individually, rather than getting their orders beforehand and ordering all at once. You want to see confusion?? There it is!! I could go on, but you get the idea. M. Shurtleff "We do it all to you"
