[ What would you do if someone took your favourite food in the entire world and said "Not enough people are buying this food, so we are going to change the way it tastes to appeal to the lowest common denominator? ] Ahem. As you know, Coke has changed their formula. I have just compared the "new stuff" to the good old Coca-Cola. The "new stuff" is terrible! It is bland! It is almost as bad as Pepsi! It tastes like you put lots of ice in your drink and it melted. No, it tastes like you put Pepsi into your Coke, added lots of ice and let it sit for a week! Obviously, this avid good-old-Coke drinker is going to hoard away as much of the good-old-Coke as possible. My dilemma: Good-old-Coke won't keep for very long (certainly not twenty years or more). Eventually I will drink my last bottle of the good-old-Coke, and then what will I do? Hence the title. Jan Gray (jsgray@watmath.UUCP) University of Waterloo (519) 885-1211 x3870
