  In Florida, I have been told by the natives, the turn signals are
  for ornamental purposes only. In my limited amount of stay, I don't have
  any reason to disagree with that opinion.

  Another cute thing about driving in Florida is that a significant
  population of drivers has a hard time seeing & hearing in a normal
  fashion ( you guessed right - it's the retired population).
  A lot of times they change lanes or stop abruptly, just on the spur of the
  moment and the traffic in the adjacent lane or behind them, is left to
  fend for itself. The best part comes now - Whenever any such beautiful
  driving is exhibited you can imagine the chaos on the road where all eyes
  are on you ( if you happened to be near them) but the person who was
  responsible for all this didn't even know that anything at all had
  happened. After all if they could see & hear properly, it wouldn't have
  happened at all.

  If you think that driving in your state is bad, you'll change your
  opinion once you've driven in Florida( for a reasonable period of time to
  let the complete effect sink in).

  All is not sunny in the SUNSHINE STATE.
