You know how the house where you grew up always seems larger than reality,
courtesy of perspective?  Like, net.flame is the same way.  We were cut off
from netnews for over a month, and I remembered net.flame to be this pretty
interesting group, with nice hot flames, great point-counter points, etc.

But folks, you let me down!!!  Boring, boring, boring.  It's hard to believe
so much time was wasted on "McDonalds twits"; who cares?  You don't like it?
Go eat at home.  You want fast food?  Peanut butter and jelly on Wonder bread
(chocked full of essential vitamins and minerals).  

And POP vs. SODA.  Is now the time to suggest net.inane.makeAT&T.bigbucks?
Here in New England, I pronounce it b-oar-ring.  

And seatbelts.  I wear them every day.  I don't particularly want to read 
about them every day.  Ho hum.  Fine for net.misc (or preferably net.auto),
but net.flame???
