Thanks to all who sent in helpful replies pointing out that I had
blundered pretty badly in missing the part about the overloading of
EOF and EOL in termio.  The game comes up nicely now, so I guess it
is time to go find some real bugs.  I tried to reply individually to
all of you who sent mail, but the number of messages was so many
(most gratifying) that I have resorted to posting a thank-you note
to make sure I get everybody.  Thanks again.
