[ My BRAIN hurts! ]

	I was playing as a Speilogist and did something incredibly stupid.
I wasn't playing a very serious game (ie. using -D option). I was just going
to go down to Hell and get the Amulet using the information given in a spoiler
posted the other day.  My method is to dig down to level 27 using the pick-axe
and fighting whatever monsters bother me on the way.  So I went down to Hell,
got the amulet, and got back up to level 1, and I had dug a hole right on
the up staircase on my way down!  I couldn't go up, because there was no up
staircase anymore.  I ended up quitting, but now I realize I could have made
it out (same method as getting to Hell only different number).  I hate to
think what I would have done if it were a "real" game (one of these days I
know I'm going to put my fist through a crt :-).
