The Consulting Group at Sun Microsystems is looking for talented,
outgoing people  who want to do more than just sit behind a desk.

We provide consulting  services and  develop  customized software 
for Sun  customers  and others.  The work varies widely and often
involves state-of-the-art hardware/software. We enjoy quite a bit 
of freedom and tend to have a lot of fun.

We need  independent,  self-motivated  people  who are capable of 
direct  customer   interaction and  have  excellent communication
skills. 

Openings are available in the following areas:

General Consulting  -  The  emphasis  here  is  on  Unix*  device 
drivers, user interfaces, graphics and communications.   Anything 
might come up, however!  Heavy Unix*  kernel experience required, 
4.2bsd a big plus.

Network File System  -  The Sun NFS is a  distributed file system 
for networks of heterogenious machines.  The NFS group will  work 
with   many   different   vendors  to  make  their  machines  NFS 
compatable,  and   do  other   NFS-related  tasks.   Wide-ranging  
distributed  systems  experience  and  Unix*  internals knowledge 
required.
