Paul Harvey (I know) told this true, in theory, story.

It seems that there was a gentleman who continually harrassed a police station
with phone calls.  The hood would continually tell the ploice how smart he was
and that they could never trace the phone call.  He always did manage to hang
up before the trace could bne completed.  One day the officer answering the 
phone and hearing the hood tell him how smart he was said, "You don't sound
so smart, I bet you don't even know your social security number."  The hood
replied with, "oh yeah? Well I do to its ..."
