Lines: 22 Two anecdotes : In my home town of Gainesville, FL, a youth was busted for possesion of pot. His wealthy old man got a good lawyer who got him off in court due to improper search, inadmissable evidence. He had not been read his rights, etc. at the proper time. Much to the fuming cop's surprise, the cocky lad asked the baliff for his bag back. The baliff said, "This is yours?", the lad replied, "Yes, give it to me." The baliff did, whereupon the cop read him his rights.... In Sarasota, FL, a report was made to the local police force that a citizen had been robbed at knifepoint in his home. When they arrived to investigate, the victim told them that a man, posing as a customer for certain illicit drugs, had stolen several ounces of marijuana and a couple hundred dollars. A search turned up several caches the robber had missed, so the police busted the foolish dealer. Never did get the thief, though.
