The article about obscure system commands (e.g., HCF for Halt and 
Catch Fire, etc.) reminded me of one other I heard along with them:

ST  Snap Tape: When used with the proper software-controlled tape
    drives, this command would unwind some slack in a 9-track, then
    spin the spools at top speed in the opposite direction.
