A friend of mine and I recently had occasion to stop at a "roadside
restaurant" (the Milk Farm in Dixon, for those who know where that is).
My friend has a sister who collects souvenir bells, and on the way out,
he spotted something which looked like such an item in the souvenir
cabinet traditionally present at places such as this. The object turned
out to be a candle snuffer, so he walked away empty of hand but fuller
of wallet than he otherwise might have been. As we left the establishment
and he informed me of this, I was able to immediately riposte with:

"...so I guess you just won a no-bell prize, huh?"

(Well, *he* liked it, anyway)
